A quick update from today’s 14 mile training walk:
The highlights (if you’re a reader):
1) A recent donation is coming via a person who has decided to give up their weekly (daily?) Starbucks for Lent. That person is donating the money to the Walk for Clean Water. Is there anything you’d be willing to go without for a week (or more) so that you’d be able to help provide others with access to clean water?
2) Speaking of giving: Someone has generously said they would match donations made between March 1st and March 10th – up to $1000! So if you’ve been thinking about giving – do so between the 1st and the 10th and your money will be matched! What a great way to quickly double the impact you can have! I’ll be calling it the “10 day $1000 challenge” – so start thinking about what you might be willing to donate!
3) I’m having an issue with a nerve in my right leg. I tried resting it a week but there’s not really any change. Hopefully shouldn’t be a permanent issue and it’s just an “ice it” to get through sort of thing.
Peace to you today!
